…They Loved Not Their Lives Unto the Death! IT’S TIME!

19 11 2008

As I was prayer-walking recently, I asked the Lord, “Is there something more? Another word you would have me release to the saints?” Just then, 21 geese flew over my head in an arrow formation and the Lord had reminded me that He had spoken about releasing a word (or prophetic arrow) every 21 days. Some well-known leaders in the prayer movement have referred to intercessors as geese; each one takes their turn in the front while the others follow. I also recently had a dream where I was entering onto a large airplane and passing a witch who was just getting off. I was to be the new flight attendant and I had to quickly feed all the passengers, as fast as I could. There was such an urgency, I didn’t know if it was possible. But before I got onto the plane, the witch commented to me in a very condescending way, “I used to be the flight attendant.” Her tone was bitter and angry. When I woke up and prayed, the Lord revealed that a major stronghold of witchcraft was broken off of the prayer movement and that He was anointing me to bring His Word, the food, to feed those on the plane (intercessors) and there wasn’t much time left.

While we were seeking the Lord in prayer regarding this word, a trusted intercessor heard the words, “Elijah twenty-one,” and knew that it meant 1 Kings, chapter 21. The very next morning, in my devotional time, I flipped my Bible open and it “happened” to land on this very chapter! I knew the Lord was confirming His word. As I studied and prayed, the revelation began to unfold. This is the story in the Bible where King Ahab covets Naboth’s vineyard. 1 Kings 21:3 says, “But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you! The story continues with Jezebel’s plot, where Naboth was killed in a deceitful and maligning way and his vineyard given over to Ahab. But this very act was the turning point for Jezebel’s destruction and demise. 1 Kings 21:23-25 states, “And concerning Jezebel, the Lord also spoke saying, ‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. The dogs shall eat whomever belongs to Ahab and dies in the city and the birds of the air shall eat whomever dies in the field.’ But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord because Jezebel his wife stirred him up…” Naboth refused to exchange his fathers’ heritage, his spiritual legacy, or to put it another way, “give up his birth right” for another vineyard, or money, even to the point of death. He could not be bribed or bought out! Ahab didn’t accurately discern or value his own spiritual heritage, or that of his fathers, and therefore, had no true value for Naboth’s. Jezebel’s desire was to take the people of God’s calling and legacy from them through murderous manipulation and intimidation and give them a counterfeit, idolatrous form of worship detestable to God. However, Naboth’s willingness to be a stake in the ground, loving not his life even unto the death, was how Jezebel was defeated.

Beloved, we must be willing to be a stake in the ground and we mustn’t fear death. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21) The Bible says, “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” (Revelations 3:11) Although the Bible says that our fight is not against flesh and blood, and that our enemy is spiritual, this spiritual enemy often manifests through people who have been held captive to do satan’s will. Just as the religious leaders of Jesus’ day were used by the powers of hell to execute the enemy’s hatred and violence towards God, so it is today in our current Christian culture and our modern day traditions of man. We see the cross designed to destroy our Messiah Jesus was the very thing that brought satan’s destruction and demise and it is the same for us. The cross is the victory every day to destroy the religious oppression that would seek to quench out true faith. We must be willing to die daily, never compromising the truth and the conviction of the Holy Spirit and willing to give our all, putting all our trust in the Father. Our attitude during our “cross” experiences must be like that of Christ’s where He prayed, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Lose your life and you will find it in resurrection glory. IT’S TIME!

It’s time for church to be biblical, where true disciples of Christ are those who deny themselves, carry their crosses and follow Jesus daily, on His terms and in His ways. The Bible says that our lives are not our own, that we’ve been bought with a price. That means our homes are not our own, our money is not our own, our belongings are not our own, our emotions are not our own, our ministries, our callings, etc.- it all belongs to the Lord. When the Bible speaks of the church, it says we are to be given to hospitality; meeting daily from house to house and in the temple, being equipped and sent to make disciples of all nations, while remaining steadfast in prayers, the breaking of bread and the Apostles’ doctrine, until we all come to the unity of the faith. 1 Corinthians 14:26 says, “How is it then brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.” Colossians 3:16 states, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” This biblical way of being the church; verses the current unbiblical patterns of doing church, would release an authentic Kingdom of Heaven revolution! It’s time to raise up true apostolic and prophetic foundations. The old wineskin and modern day traditions of men are being exposed and shaken off of the church. No more will the church be known for their mildly entertaining Sunday services where one man speaks and many of the saints remain inactive and unchallenged or our 501c3 statuses which would have us so politically correct that we can’t stand up for the word of God, and when we do stand up, the “privilege” is taken…. We should rather let this so-called “privilege” be revoked, but let it be known we will never stop declaring God’s word, come hell or high water! No more will the church be known for the boards of directors who have little or no relationship with the congregants, our hireling dependent structures and conferences where people are charged large amounts of money to be equipped with the gospel- and this is just to name a few major biblical injustices! When valid biblical concerns are brought to the attention of those in authority, speaking the truth in love, you might be labeled “rebellious” when in fact, this current church structure in many ways is rebellious to God’s word.

Once again, the traditions of man have sought to nullify the Word of God. This ought not to be. We wonder why it seems like a continual uphill battle as we seek to advance God’s Kingdom, but God has a plan and it’s ready to birth now!  Biblically, there was one church per city or region, both in Paul’s letters and in the Book of Revelation where Jesus, by the Spirit, speaks to the seven churches- each one representing a city/ region. God sees one church in the San Francisco Bay Area and He will not bow to man’s agenda. There is no “stand alone” ministry (we stand together, for a house divided will not stand!). Our unity in obeying the Father, on His terms; loving not our own lives even unto the death and learning obedience through what we suffer corporately, will deal the death blow to Jezebel and the powers of hell in our region and beyond! OH! It’s gonna be worth it! Revelations 2:20 (The Message Bible), “But why do you let that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet mislead my dear servants into cross-denying, self indulging religion? I gave her a chance to change her ways but she has no intention of giving up a career in the god business. I’m about to lay her low along with her partners as they play their sex-and-religion games. The bastard offspring of their idol-whoring I’ll kill. Then every church will know that appearances don’t impress me. I x-ray every motive and make sure you get what’s coming to you.”

God has made it very clear to me that He’s beginning to judge and punish Jezebel. This is a very exciting time for those who’s lives have been consecrated to the Lord and are steadfast in watching and praying, praises and true worship, as judgment begins in the house of God. Yet believers who have been seduced and held captive to Jezebel’s harlotries and manipulations will be severely punished unless they repent, this is a sobering truth. Even just tolerating Jezebel will earn severe punishment. More than ever before, it’s time to examine ourselves to see if we truly are in the faith! (2 Corinthians 13:5)

It’s time to take a stand like Naboth and say, “The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!  We will not receive some counterfeit vineyard or calling, and we will not be bribed, seduced or intimidated from our birthright in the Spirit! We will not sell out, not even for all the kingdoms of the world!! We will only do what the Father is doing!”  Revelation 12:11 states, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Let’s decree, “Death is swallowed up in victory!  Oh death, where is your sting?  Oh Hades, where is your victory?  WE TRIUMPH IN CHRIST!”

John 10:4-5 “And when He brings out His own sheep, He goes before them; and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him for they do not know the voice of strangers.” We decree in the Spirit, “His sheep hear His voice and follow Him, and from the voice of another they will flee! In Jesus name! It’s time!”

Jesus says, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations…” Let us follow Him!  FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
