A Kingdom of Priests

A Kingdom of Priests

The whole body of Christ is a Kingdom of Priests; this is confirmed all throughout Scripture: Revelation 1:6, Revelation 5:10, 1 Peter 2:5, 1 Peter 2:9, etc.  You may not be in the office of apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor or evangelist, but whether you know it or not, you are in the office of a priest!  You cannot say, “I am not called to the ministry of prayer.”  Everyone is called as an intercessor; everyone is called as a priest.  It is time, more than ever, for the priestly responsibility of every believer to be activated and mobilized NOW.  This is the preeminent priority of every believer; it is time to watch and pray like never before, seeking His face and declaring the word of the Lord.  The ministry of priestly intercession is foundational in releasing both the individual callings and the corporate destiny of the saints.  This will bring about God’s Kingdom purposes more than any conference, big name speaker, or trend that is currently sweeping through the Church.

In a word that I previously released, titled “The 24-Hour Bride…. It’s Time!,” the Lord had spoken to me that there are 3,200 people who are ready right now that will raise up the Lord’s house of prayer for all nations.  This was a mystery to me.  I asked the Lord about this in prayer and He led me to look in a specific bible: the Daily Bible, NIV version.  He had me look up the reading on my birth date, February 6th.  The passage spoke of the Merarite clans and families.  (Numbers 4:31-32) They were responsible to carry the frames of the tabernacles, it’s crossbars, posts and bases as well as the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs, ropes, all their equipment and everything related to their use.    (Numbers 4:42-45)  This passage lists that there were 3,200 Merarites responsible for the structure of the Tent of Meeting.  The Lord is saying that there are 3,200 priests throughout this Bay Area region who are ready right now that will raise up the structure of God’s tabernacle in the Spirit!

THE GREAT DISTRACTION

I had a dream recently where there was a great spiritual adultery and a husband and wife exchanged spouses.  It was very disconcerting.  I then saw a coliseum larger than any coliseum known to man and all around its sides were digital screens where the names of big ministers and ministries were being displayed in lights, like mass self promotion.  I was sick about it.  The Spirit of the Lord was leading me into the coliseum.  I felt for sure that I was going to my death.  My only weapon was my pocket NKJV bible that I had opened on my forehead and I kept saying, “Help me, God!  Help me, God!”

There has been so much hype and distraction in the church, effectively keeping us back from the work of the Lord.  It has a form of godliness, but it denies the power thereof.  Enough is enough! I had another dream only a week ago where there were enemy helicopters over California.  The enemy was not a spiritual enemy, rather literal terrorist forces from the Middle East over American soil.  I was screaming to those around me, “Get down!  These are not American!  We are being invaded!”  I saw brothers in the Lord, running for their lives with terror on their faces and people hiding, trying to help one another.  But it was too late- the enemy had gotten the upper hand.  Then I was at an internment camp where Americans were being forced to make weapons that would be used to kill other American citizens.  A well known prayer leader handed me a large, bright red glass bowl on a matching platter and I thought of the bowls in Revelation 5:8 that the incense was in: the prayers of the saints.  The last scene in the dream showed people who refused to make the weapons being mercilessly killed by these same terrorist soldiers.  I woke up from this dream in the fear of the Lord.  It was around 5 AM.  I had a sense that this dream was not just figurative, but the Lord was showing me that this could happen if His people who are called by His name do not humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways  and seek His face!  NOW!  We really cannot afford to be distracted anymore.  It is time to seek the Lord while He may be found.

No Spiritual Abortion

It’s time to “pray the price” until we see the cloud the size of a man’s hand.

Even as Elijah prayed in the birthing position seven times until he saw the first fruits of God’s prophetic promise.  In James 5:16-18, it says that Elijah was a man with a nature like ours and that the effective and fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.  This passage of Scripture makes it clear that there is no excuse to not carry to full term the purposes of God in prayer.   Many times the Lord has longed to gather us like a hen gathers her chicks, but we did not recognize the day of our visitation.  When the Lord spoke this out, He went and cleared out the temple declaring that, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations, but you have made it a den of thieves.”  If we really believe that this is our day of visitation, then let us align accordingly!  There is so much religious busy-ness robbing God of the intimacy that He longs for with His saints and that He purchased with His own blood.  If there is no intimacy, there is no conception.  And if the conception is not brought to full term, there is no birth.

What will authentic revival cost us?

Instead of making for ourselves a ‘great reputation’ or a ‘big name’, we must be like Christ and make ourselves of no reputation (Philippians 2:5-9).  We must follow Christ outside the camp, bearing His reproach, lifting up sacrifices of praise just as it states in Hebrews 13:12-15.  We must be willing to be cast out for His name’s sake (Isaiah 66:5).

We must be willing to let go of our dreams and visions to gain the dream and vision of the Lord.  We must be crucified with Christ, so that we will no longer be carnally minded, but rather have the mind of Christ for this hour.  It’s time to daily deny ourselves, carry our cross and follow after Him only doing what the Father is doing!

What will this authentic revival look like?

We will see a global ruling house of prayer for all nations exalted and established in the earth.  Isaiah 2:2 states, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.”  We are seeing the first fruits of this now with houses of prayer being established and raised up all over the world, too many to keep track of.  In the midst of great darkness, the true believers will shine forth the glory of the Lord and nations will come to the brightness of our rising!  (Isaiah 60)  This text speaks of Israel and the Jews coming to salvation as well as gentile believers (those who have been engrafted into the olive tree {Romans 11:24-27}), those who make up the Israel of God (Galatians 6:16).  The Lord will reveal the mystery of His will (Ephesians 1:10) that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ both which are in heaven and which are on earth- in Him.  There will be a great expression of the unity of the Spirit!  Christ will be formed in His church again.  The greatest harvest of souls will come into the Kingdom, and God’s judgments will be majestically displayed for all to see.    The Lord will make known the plumb line of His will and you will either be revealed as an obedient lover of God, or exposed as rebellious and deceived.  He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and there will be multitudes in the Valley of Decision.  Let us decide to agree with God!

2 Peter 3:10-14:But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless”
